SoCal is considered by many to be the birthplace of the sport compact tuning scene. Couple that with year long warm weather and you’ve got the recipe for some truly amazing events!
After years of hosting events elsewhere in the US, we finally made our way out to SoCal a few years ago. Our first event was a huge success, shattering our previous attendance records. So of course we’ve had to come back every year since!
After taking a couple of years off due to the pandemic, 2022 marked our first time back in SoCal since 2019. With many people still reeling from the effects of the pandemic, we weren’t quite sure what to expect. Would it be a packed house as people were eager to get back to reality? Or would it be a ghost town since many people were still avoiding large gatherings?
Well we are happy to report that not only was the vehicle turnout and quality outstanding, but the foot traffic throughout the day was pretty close to what it was in 2019!
This event featured many special guests including SEMA Battle of the Builders finalist Big Mike and his Honda Prelude, YouTuber Dustin Williams, who brought his APR widebody EVO, and a performance by fan favorite Xavier Wulf!
The West Coast always does it big and this event was a true testament to that. In fact, SoCal has been so good to us that we’ve announced a second event there later this year!
