Background

After having quite a few people come from Dominican Republic to our event in Puerto Rico, we’ve decided to host a show there! Car culture is very much alive and thriving there, and we can’t wait to show off some of DR’s best builds!

This will be a two-day event and will be hosted at the famous Kartódromo Internacional United Petroleum kart track! There will be something for everyone including sneaker contest, giveaways, DJs, Builder Q&A, and we will be capping things off on Saturday with an awesome fireworks show!

TRANSPORTATION SERVICE
We’ve partnered with Transporte Sheila to provide bus transportation to the event from the following locations:
– Sambil Plaza, National District
– Columbus Lighthouse, Santo Domingo East
Cost: $12 per person (adults and children)
4 buses per location, 26 people per bus
Departing for the event: 9:30am, Pickup time at the event: 5:30pm

* The following criteria must be met for both team awards

  1. Must have at least 15 members in attendance
  2. All member vehicles must be registered through our system (club/team name must be entered for all members)
  3. Members must have team sticker/banner on their car before the start of the event
  4. Teams must be well represented. At least three of the following must be used:

– Flags with team logo
– Shirts with team logo
– Canopy/tent with team logo
– Banner with team logo

(Best Team Overall Only) Representation and vehicle quality will both play a part in selection of the winner. We will look at the total number of individual awards each team takes, as well as how a team behaves and represents themselves at the event. We are looking for teams that come to compete at a high level, but in a classy and supportive way.

If the winning teams do not satisfy all requirements for any reason, the awards will be presented, but the cash prizes will not.

Roll-In Info

Competitor Vehicles

Roll in for competitor vehicles will be Friday 10/2 from 10am – 9pm and Saturday 9am – 12pm

Our check-in process is done completely electronically. Our system contains all of your information and images of your vehicle(s). So when you arrive, all you need to do is give us your name or show us the QR code provided to you in your acceptance email.

Saturday
If you rolled in Friday, you will be able to get back into the venue on Saturday starting at 12pm. Event begins at 3pm. Judges and drivers meeting at 4pm.

Sunday
You will be able to get back into the venue on Sunday starting at 9am. Event begins at 10am. Roll-out starts at 6pm.

Additional info may be emailed to you closer to the event.

Vendors

Roll-in for vendors will be Fri 10/2 from 10am – 5pm!

This includes all booth vehicles!! Any booth vehicles that do not roll in during this time frame will not be able to park in their booth!!

Our check-in process is done completely electronically. Our system contains all of your information and images of your booth vehicle(s). So when you arrive, all you need to do is give us your name (so there’s no need to bring anything with you).

Saturday
You will be able to get back into the venue on Saturday starting at 12pm. Event begins at 3pm.

Sunday
You will be able to get back into the venue on Sunday starting at 9am. Event begins at 10am. Roll-out starts at 6pm.

Important! The first person from your company who arrives at the event and checks in will be given all of your company’s passes, and it will be their responsibility to distribute them to the rest of your employees who will be attending.

Rules & Guidelines

REGISTERED VEHICLES – Vehicles receive a pass for the driver only! Additional passes can be purchased when registering your vehicle. Additional tickets can also be purchased from our staff when you roll into the event.

A Few Rules for Competitors and Vendors:

* If your vehicle leaks oil, a drip mat must be placed underneath it
* Show vehicles must remain in the spot assigned by event staff
* No glass bottles
* No firearms
* No guaranteed parking spot without registration
* Vehicles may not leave the event until after the awards ceremony on Sunday
* No burnouts
* Keep your wristband on when exiting and re-entering the event
* Dogs are allowed, but owners are responsible for cleaning up after them
* Free parking
